The company is a private entity primarily engaged in the manufacture and supply of corrugating rolls, pressure rolls and glue rolls for the cement, paper, mining, chemical and wind-power industry. Other activities include the construction and repair of spare parts and machinery such as raceways, headers and anti-friction bearings, crown-wheels and pinions, pulley wheels, hubs, shafts, slewing rings, flanges and coupling bosses. These products are sold in Europe and America. The company was founded in 1921 and is based in Orkoien, Spain. Moreover, it also has a production facility in the United States (Tiruña America) and an after-sales service hub in the U.K. (Tiruña U.K.).
